In individual cases, it may also be possible to finance studies through foundations and organisations for the advancement of gifted students. Some of the foundations may make the funding dependent on denominational or political affiliation, others on academic performance or social commitment.

The promotion scholarship supports experienced professionals in the execution of their first university studies (Bachelor or Diploma). The application takes place online before the beginning of the studies, as an exception for already students also up to the 2nd semester.
