Energy efficiency is a widespread topic in times of rising energy costs. Everywhere you hear "Energy saving lamps are much more effective and efficient". Every now and then you might get a crooked look because there is no A+++ refrigerator in the household or no photovoltaic system on the roof. The question is, however, whether energy efficiency can only be achieved with the latest, mostly expensive technology.

We as the Studentenwerk have also asked this question. The evaluation of our survey concerning the energy efficiency of our dormitories can be found here.

Measures to implement energy savings will follow shortly.
